We reached out to Kristi after reading the many glowing reviews she had. One of the biggest issues we had with our rescue dog was that he was fearful of my husband and people in general. We struggled with training him and were looking for someone to train US just as much as our dog. 😊 Kristi was incredibly responsive from the moment we reached out. She gave us advice before she even came for the first session! Kristi clearly cares about dogs, is knowledgeable, and is open to finding new ways to help. When our dog was too afraid to even come close to her for training, she brought in life-size stuffed dogs to help our dog feel like he was "part of a pack". We let him watch us pet the stuffed dogs, pretended to have them eat, etc. It was amazing to watch how quickly our dog responded and started changing his behavior based on what he saw the other "dogs" doing! We would have never thought to do that if it hadn't been for Kristi! She is awesome - we are so thankful we found her!

We hired Kristi to help with our 1-year old husky who wasn't socialized with humans. We got him when he was 6 months. Kristi came to our home 3 times and offered us a bunch of tips and tricks to help him with his fear of humans. She even made some minor changes to our routine to help our husky adjust more and reminded us to be more aware of our body language towards him since dogs rely so much on body language. She really is amazing when you see her at work. Our husky would NEVER warm up to guests as quickly as he did with Kristi. She was so kind and gentle with him. We also have another husky in our home who is 3 years old. We got him as a pup, so he was properly socialized, but Kristi offered some advice for him, too! He's very pushy and wants to be in your space, so she gave us some advice to help with that. Kristi goes above and beyond. She was there for our one husky, but addressed issues with our other as well. That's a damn good trainer right there. I plan on keeping in touch with her and highly recommend her to anyone who is having issues with their dogs. She is a problem solver and won't give up on your dog until she figures it out. Hire her, you won't regret it.

Kristi was very professional and understanding of the puppy mill syndrome I was dealing with. She spent a lot of time working with Blossom's self-confidence and helped me learn not to look directly in her eyes until she wanted me to. We worked on beginning obedience, which is so very different from the way I was taught 40 plus years ago. I was soon to be moving into an apartment and her separation anxiety barking was my major concern, as that was not acceptable. Since I live alone, it's hard to work on that, and after several weeks, I made the very difficult decision to return Blossom, thinking she needed to be in a home with another dog who could help teach her how to be a good dog. She was really lovely, but between selling the house, and packing, I decided I made a bad decision on taking on this challenging dog at this time. Kristi even helped me return her, as she was going that way the day I was taking her back, going well above and beyond her responsibilities. If I ever find another dog, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Kristi again for training.

We have seen such an improvement in just 24 hrs that I know it won't be long before our fur babies get along, and Buffy learns to be a dog. Turns out we needed training as well. We had a very good experience with Kristi. Our English Bulldog became dominant and aggressive and we were feeling desperate and scared. He had bitten us several times and we didn't know what to do. Kristi came to our home and spent 4 hours with us. By the time she left, our 2 dogs were well on their way to understanding we were pack leaders and the aggression reduced a lot and stopped over the next week with constant training. We love our dogs so much and recommend Kristi very highly.

Kristi immediately made a difference with our 8-month-old Labradoodle. There were issues with continually jumping on and nipping at the wife, and not listening to her at all. Kristi explained how dogs think and how we need to communicate to him what we want him to do. Her approach is positive reinforcement of good behavior, not trying to change bad behavior by negative reactions. Now the dog respects the wife's space, is very good at sit-stay and down-stay, and is well on the way to being calm when someone comes to the door. He also greets people in a much calmer and respectful way after Kristi worked with him. Kristi's rate for training is very reasonable, and she works her schedule to come to your house when it's convenient for you. I doubt there is any dog behavior that she hasn't dealt with successfully in her years of experience. We have and would recommend Kristi to anyone with a dog or dogs with issues, minor or major. I took Sye to private and group training with Kristi Logterman and had great results! Sye now has basic manners and even some more advanced skills as well. Kristi took the time to explain exactly how to handle situations, and she also gave us great information on how dogs think vs how humans think. She always had lots of ideas and tricks so if one thing didn't work, she would suggest another way. This really helped in the training process! I would recommend Kristi to anyone! 😊
